Oxfam - Campaign for Climate Change

This is Oxfam's 2009 campaign for climate change.

I find this campaign extremely successful with the use of the striking motif of the ticking clock arms, signifying the earths time is counting down because of climate change. I love the fact that loads of different people from all different ages, genders and backgrounds act as arms for the ticking clock, signifying how we all have a carbon footprint, we all play a part as the ticking arms for the clock, reducing its life, we, mankind. It is our fault, no matter who you are we all contribute to climate change, it is mans fault, we are the clock arms.

The dramatic scene cuts are very effective, from the gentle ticking to the loud sounds of a natural disaster, this is great production.

I also love the compositions of the people, loads of different angles are shown and all the people are stood in the exact same positions that when combined, create a ticking clock themselves.
