Set, Series and Sequence - Stained glass exploration

I tested some stained glass effect using coloured cellophane for light filters;

I made a figure from fragments which I filled in bit by bit with the cellophane. For contrast I put in on a black paper background;

I then made a squared effect of fragmentation using water colours. With this I played with vision and how our eyes can distinguish image, I made the figure from cold colours and the outside warm. The cold colours connote of sadness, further reinforcing this is the sad position of the character, making for a piece that could be perceived as reflective of an emotional situation.
